Why Post Natal Classes?
Parents of multiples are particularly susceptible to post-partem depression.  Now that your babies have arrived, getting out of the house to take some of those sought-after baby classes or even to meet with other parents for support can be a challenge with more than one.  Why not let me come to you, instead?

• Private classes/consultation in the convenience of your home
  (throughout the West GTA) and/or the Internet
  
• All classes include handouts and/or samples to illustrate concepts
  
• Both partners (and their babies) are encouraged to attend classes together

1) Fun and Games
When you’re busy managing the daily routines of two or more babies, sometimes it’s difficult to move beyond the “basics”.  This class provides an opportunity for participants to consider the social, linguistic and other stages of infant development in the first year, and gives parents a chance to investigate developmentally appropriate songs, games, rhymes, toys and books to enhance the bond with their twins, triplets or more.  This class is ideal anytime after the first six weeks.

2) Introducing Solids
This class provides an overview of the “whens”, “hows” and “whys” of introducing solid foods into your babies’ diets.  Time will be spent examining various infant foods on the market and exploring different feeding strategies for multiple babies.  Ideal class for those with babies three months and older, who want to prepare for the next step in their infants’ nutrition.

3) Hiring a Nanny
If you are considering hiring help, this class is for you.  Participants will consider how to find, interview, hire and keep a live-in or live-out caregiver for their multiples.  This class is recommended at least six months before you need your help to begin employment.

Each class runs approximately 2 hours, and is taught in the comfort and convenience of your own home. (The Nanny class can be done on-line or in-home, as preference dictates).  The cost for my prenatal clients is $95 per class, or sign up for all three at a discounted rate of $250 total, payable by cheque or in cash.  To register for one or more classes, please call or email me.  I look forward to working with you and your babies!
