

Vera Teschow is a Certified Ontario Teacher who has experience with Gifted Learners in a variety of contexts. As well as having gifted learners in her regular classroom, Vera has taught a Primary Enhanced Learning Class (PELC). She has also developed and instructed courses with the Peel Summer Academy (PSA) and the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) Summer Program. Vera holds a B.Ed. and an Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto. In addition, she is certified in Music, ESL, Primary Instruction and Special Education, and has recently completed a Masters Degree in Education at OISE in Toronto.
Trevor Ormerod is a former archeologist who spent 8 years digging in Egypt and Northern Ontario before becoming certified as a teacher 7 years ago. He holds a B.A. and M.Sc. from the University of Toronto as well as a B.Ed. from Brock and additional qualifications from OISE in History and Special Ed.
Trevor has experience teaching gifted children at both the primary and junior levels. After taking a 10-month parental leave to care for his twin boys, Trevor recently returned to work in Peel, where he currently teaches a grade three class
