Toronto’s Newest Quads You may have seen them on City TV last year—the Columbian-Canadian couple expecting FOUR babies! Members of Baptist churches in the city, TPOMBA families and Torontonians in general kicked into high gear and supplied this family with approximately two months of home cooked meals as well as a year’s supply of diapers and wipes and many other much needed and gratefully accepted donations. Now a year old, the babies recently moved with their parents out of a tiny 2-bedroom apartment downtown into a new home in the north end of the city, where they will have plenty of room as they learn how to crawl, then walk! Quadruplets Toby, John, Luna and Sophia were born in Toronto in March 2005 to proud parents Patricia and Ricardo, who had recently arrived from Columbia. We caught up with them last Christmas, when we babysat for the afternoon while mom and dad went on their first date in over a year.
